What to do When You Miss the Rapture
1 Thessalonians 4:17 “After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.”
In my previous posts, I talked about the invitation from God to become brides of Christ. Again this is not only pertaining to women but this revelation talks about having a deep committed relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Word of God states that there will be a reward for faithful believers. The Lord will come back to get His brides and save them from the coming tribulation such as the world has never seen before. The word of God states that we will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air and we shall be with the Lord forever. God’s purpose in doing this is to separate the wheat from the tares. He will save the righteous from the coming horrors because they had been faithful followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord knows that these faithful followers had made themselves ready to meet Him. These faithful followers of Christ do not deserve to experience troubles but instead inherit the promises of God in His Kingdom. This has been the principle since the Old Testament times. He will then reward those who are raptured in heaven and reveal the fullness of His blessings for them to enjoy.
Luke 21:36
“Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man.”
Unfortunately, not all will be raptured. Only the Lord knows the names of those who will be raptured. What we can do on our end is to be ready and prepare for the rapture. Now I am led to write this post for those who will be left behind. Definitely, not all hope is lost! There is still a chance for them to inherit the Kingdom of God. But I urge everyone to please read the information below and open your heart to the truth. I have written a few points to consider if in case you are left behind. My goal is to enlighten believers and non-believers to give them hope so they may overcome the tribulation in case anyone misses the rapture of the saints.
1. First, you must know that the people missing are caught up with the Lord.
I believe in my heart that the secular media will create a lot of conspiracies to explain why the raptured saints are missing. There will be ideas such as Alien abduction etc. These secular conspiracies are all false! Please know that there is only one truth and it is what the bible says. People are missing because they had made themselves ready for the coming of the Lord.
Colossians 2:8
See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ.
2. You have to avoid the Mark of the Beast
After the saints are caught up to be with the Lord, the reign of the Antichrist will begin. Please know that the Anti-Christ and the false prophet will do their best to deceive people and to lead them away from the truth which is in Christ. If you are left behind the rapture, you must do your best to resist the mark of the Beast. The bible says that mark is “666”. The mark may be an obvious group of numbers printed on the skin or it may be a chip implanted in hands or foreheads. Whatever it is, you must avoid the mark! The word of God also states that the Anti-Christ will have full control over this world. He and the false prophet will try to deceive people to receive the mark.
Revelation 13:16-17
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
3. Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior
This is actually the most important thing to do! If you were left behind because you do not have a personal relationship with the Lord, now is the time to receive forgiveness for all your sins and accept the gift of eternal life from God. All your sins are paid by the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and He is offering you eternal life if you accept Him as your Lord and Savior. Now, if you are already a believer and you were left behind, you must repent and ask forgiveness for your sins. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and lead you in all that you need to do during the tribulation.
Acts 2:21
And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
4. Make sure you have a printed Bible
Social Media Apps and the internet may be controlled by the system of the Anti-Christ. They may remove any information related to the bible so they can continue with their deception plan. Bible Apps on your mobile phone may not be available during the time of the tribulation. You must have a bible book to carry with you at all times so you can use the power of the Word of God and be able to apply the teachings from the Word of God in all situations. Remember that the Word of God will be your guide and the presence of God will help you understand the Word of God so you will know what you need to do to survive the tribulation.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path.
5. Get away from the Cities and flee to provinces
During the tribulation, you must get out of the city and flee to provinces. Remember that the Anti-Christ will have full control of the government and the bank system. They will make sure that everyone will receive the mark of the beast. You must flee to the provinces! By doing this, you will have more options to get food. This plan will also give you enough time to share the Word of God so you can tell the truth to other people left behind and delay being found by the army of the Anti-Christ.
Matthew 24:16
Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
6. You must take courage and strength from the Lord
I know that the tribulation years will be the most difficult years in the history of this world. But please know that God is always with you until the end of time. Remember your purpose in Him and always remember that God wants you to enter His Kingdom. You must endure until the end and you most definitely will with God on your side. Remember that in God you have all you need. Build up strength to resist the mark of the beast. Remember that once you accept the mark, there will be no more hope for you to enter the Kingdom of God. Your body, soul and spirit will be controlled by Satan. So you must endure the challenges! God will give you strength! Do not kill yourself and lose hope. God will be your salvation!
Psalm 18:2
The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
7.Be ready to become a martyr for the Lord
The Lord offered His life for us and it will be a great honor to offer our lives to Him as well. During the time of tribulation, all people living on the earth will be forced to receive the mark of the beast. The bible says that there will be those who will offer their lives to the Lord and accept beheading to resist the mark. Remember that you need to avoid the mark of the beast at any cost! If it means offering your own life, do it! Remember that once you offer your life to the Lord, you will surely enter the Kingdom of God! Take courage and tell others as well about this truth. You will surely inherit your rewards in heaven. Do not be afraid! Know that God’s grace is sufficient for you. Offer your lives fully on to God and inherit the blessed Kingdom that was promised to us all!
Revelation 20:4
“I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”
I put my heart in writing this post. Please know that it is my great desire to tell the truth of God to people specially to my fellow Filipinos. All hope is not lost! There is still a chance to join the rapture and be able to escape the coming horrors of the tribulation. Always remember and put this truth in your heart that God created us to be with Him because He loves us more than we love ourselves!
